YEREVAN. – A revolution has taken place, but a change of power has not yet taken place in Armenia.

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Wednesday noted about the abovementioned at the National Assembly, during his address as candidate for PM.

He reflected on the events that unrolled in the country over the past five months, and on their profound meaning.

“It’s clear-cut to me that a revolution has taken place in Armenia because a real change in the social formation has taken place [in the country],” Pashinyan said, in particular. “A revolution has taken place, but a change of power has not yet taken place; at least a complete change of power.

“A people’s government is established in Armenia, but that government still doesn’t have the tool to bring its ideas to fruition.”
