YEREVAN. – Armenia has repeatedly presented its position on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict.

Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, stated the aforesaid at Wednesday’s press briefing.

“The status and security of Nagorno-Karabakh are a priority for Armenia,” she stressed. “Moreover, security is of vital importance. The peace process must guarantee that the population of Nagorno-Karabakh will no longer be subjected to inroads by Azerbaijan, and [that] the matter of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic people’s [right to] self-determination will be respected. The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic must have a decisive voice.”

Also, the Armenian MFA spokesperson confirmed the existence of an operative communication link between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and said it aims to develop a favorable climate that contributes to the advancement of the process to resolve the Karabakh conflict.
