YEREVAN. – Settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is complicated.

US National Security Adviser John Bolton on Thursday stated about the aforesaid at a press conference in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Bolton said his visit does not mean a change in US policy regarding this conflict, or that he will make new respective proposals.

In his words, Armenia needs to resolve the Karabakh conflict in order to minimize external influences.

The US National Security Adviser said the Armenian side clearly supports the OSCE Minsk Group, and noted that the parties can and should discuss everything.

John Bolton added that if acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his political team get a huge mandate as a result of the forthcoming snap parliamentary election in Armenia, this will be a good opportunity for taking decisive steps toward settling the Karabakh conflict.
