What happened in Armenia was a peaceful change of power, the former mayor of New York, Rudolph Giuliani told Shant TV Channel.
Asked to comment on Armenia's velvet revolution, he noted that it is too quick to call it a revolution, because revolution implies armed confrontation, while the change of power is quite common.
Giuliani expressed hope that it was a legitimate change, which would be further ratified by elections.
