The parliament of Kosovo has voted—in the first reading—in favor of the bill on the creation of its own army.
The local authorities are ready to spend up to €300 million for three years to purchase arms and military equipment for this army, Večernji list newspaper of Croatia reported.
The authorities plan to turn the Kosovo Security Force into complete armed forces comprising 5,000 soldiers.
