The Armenian citizens have not appealed to Armenian Embassy in Tehran regarding unrests in the country, Armenian Foreign Ministry representative said.

Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, spokesperson Tigran Balayan said foreign ministry keeps in touch with the embassy.

Oppositional demonstration in support of political changes in Tunis and Egypt were held in Iran.

Thousands took to the streets of Tehran heading to Azadi Square. They demanded improvement of economic conditions, free elections and resignation of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The witnesses wrote on their blogs one person was killed.

Today Iranian authorities confirmed information on one killed during unauthorized anti-government demonstration in Tehran. At least nine people got injuries.
