Armenian President Armen Sarkissian has confirmed that he recently had no contacts with Serzh Sargsyan.

Asked to comment whether he communicates with Serzh Sargsyan, who has nominated his candidacy as the Armenian President, Armen Sarkissian told reporters: “Unfortunately, I have no contacts with him for a while. I have not met him.”

As reported earlier, Armen Sarkissian was elected president on March 2 at a special meeting of the Armenian parliament.
