At least 12 Afghan soldiers and four tribal elders killed as a result of a Taliban attack on a military base in the province of Baghlan in northern Afghanistan, Al Jazeera reported.
Militants also kidnapped two soldiers and wounded three more on Sunday night, after which they burned the base.
