Germany cannot turn a blind eye on the fact that the countries neighboring Russia cannot develop as they want, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said during German-Ukrainian forum in Berlin.

Merkel said that such countries as Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Ukraine cannot develop because of the frozen conflicts in South Ossetia, Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh and in the east of Ukraine, NOI.md reported.
