Armenian-Russian relations must continue being strategic and allied, acting PM Nikol Pashinyan said during the campaign in Abovian on Monday.

“This phrase – strategic, allied – must get new meaning every year. It is also a work and our government is ready to do this work for bringing the Armenian-Russian relations on really new level because we really want serious development of our strategic-allied partnership,” he said.

He said putting relations with Russia on new level is “ambitious and very important issue.”

Pashinyan hailed all the platforms aimed at developing Armenian-Russian relations. He said he did not contact as much with any of leaders of countries as with Russian president but these contacts must continue on all levels, he said.
