A political dialogue between NATO and Russia is necessary, even if the relations of the parties do not improve in the future, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters.

According to him, the dialogue is necessary to avoid dangerous incidents, otherwise the situation can get out of control and become very dangerous, TASS reported.

The Secretary General recalled that NATO has a dual approach towards Russia.

According to him, this is dialogue and defense and this combination is able to adapt to different scenarios.
