The agreement on free trade zone is a good opportunity for Iran to start an effective partnership with the Eurasian Union, NIkol Pashinyan said with Russia24 television.

According to him, such a partnership is a good prospect for both the Eurasian Union and Iran as both  serious economic difficulties due to problems in relations with the United States.

Iran is a very important partner for Armenia, and Pashinyan is confident that good neighborly relations between the countries will contribute to the further development of relations between the Eurasian Union and Iran.

Back in May a temporarily agreement on the creation of a free trade zone for the term of three years was signed by the Eurasian Union and Iran. According to the agreement, the sides will reduce tariffs and will remove barriers for around 850 items.
