The informal CIS summit kicked off in St. Petersburg on Thursday, RIA Novosti reported.
The event kicked off immediately after the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
The meeting of the CIS heads of state is taking place in the form of an informal dinner on behalf of Russia President Vladimir Putin.
The meeting is attended by Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev, Armenian acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Leaders of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Moldova Igor Dodon, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
