Armenia's acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is on a working visit to Milan, met with his Austrian counterpart, Karin Kneissl on Thursday, the prss service of the Armenian MFA reported.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to bilateral relations, as well as exchanged views on the agenda of the 25th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council, the Organization's activities and its framework.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Austria reaffirmed their readiness to undertake practical steps towards expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, stressing the importance of high-level contacts and mutual visits. Zohrab Mnatsakanyan informed that the Armenian side highly appreciates the Austrian government's ongoing support to the agenda of Armenia's development .

At the request of the interlocutor, Acting Minister Mnatsakanyan touched upon the recent internal political developments in Armenia and the reforms carried out by the Armenian government, which is widely mandated by the people, stressing that the holding of fair elections is one of the priorities of the Armenian government.

Acting Minister Mnatsakanyan also noted that Armenia will host the 3rd Global Forum against the Crime of Genocide on December 9.
