YEREVAN. – Acting Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan on Monday received Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin, in connection with the completion of the mission of the Russian embassy’s serving military attaché to Armenia, and the appointment of a new military attaché.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned the aforementioned from the news service of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

First, Tonoyan thanked outgoing Russian military attaché Yevgeny Bulavintsev for his active and productive work carried out toward the strengthening of Armenian-Russian military and technico-military cooperation, during his tenure in Armenia.

Also, the Armenian acting defense minister congratulated newly appointed Russian military and air force attaché Andrey Grishchuk, and wished him success in his respective mission in Armenia.
