Shots were fired at a hotel in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, on December 8, at around 4am.

Subsequently, Yerevan resident Anzhela Israyelyan, 33, was found dead in the hotel, and with a gunshot wound.

According to shamshyan.com, Yerevan resident Artur Najaryan, who had sustained injuries on the day of this murder, has been detained along the lines of the respective murder case.

A criminal case has been filed against Najaryan.

The investigative agency received information that Israyelyan and Najaryan were in a civil marriage, and they lived together in a room of the said hotel.

On December 8, they had argued. A hotel maid had come out of their room, tried to ask for help, but at that moment, shots were heard inside the room.
