The Turkish Ministry of Defense has launched construction of a military base in the Black Sea, Trabzon province in the north-east of the country, RT reported quoting NTV.

It is noted that this object will become the ninth base of the Turkish Navy. According to the source, 400 military and 200 civilian specialists will serve at the facility.
