YEREVAN. – Hakob Arshakyan, Acting Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies, on Friday received Dimitri Gvindadze, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Resident Office in Armenia.

The EBRD official presented the work precepts of this bank and the amount of investments which the EBRD has made so far in Armenia, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, he noted that they stand ready to partake in the implementation of new and feasible projects in Armenia, and with larger-scale funding.

The interlocutors discussed the opportunities to expand cooperation in several domains.

In particular, they highlighted the carrying out of the North-South Road Corridor construction project. In this connection, Acting Minister Arshakyan expressed the hope that the EBRD will contribute to this key undertaking, too.
