YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Czech Ambassador Petr Mikyska, and CEO Šimon Pánek of the People in Need NGO based in the Czech Republic. 

First, Pashinyan underscored the continued development of Armenian-Czech relations, and noted that the Armenian government looks toward the further deepening and expanding of economic cooperation, the acting PM’s office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. In particular, Pashinyan stressed that the Armenian government guarantees the security of each and every investment project in the country.

Šimon Pánek, for his part, briefed the acting PM on the People in Need NGO’s activities and its projects in Armenia. In this connection, it was noted that this NGO is implementing an adventure tourism development program in Syunik Province, and a wool processing plant establishment project in Amasia village, in Shirak Province. Pánek added that the People in Need was implementing projects also toward rural business development in Armenia.  

Acting PM Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, welcomed these projects, and said the Armenian government will assist in successfully bringing them to fruition.
