A couple of days after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s statement about the launch of military operations in Syria, equipment had already been deployed to the Syrian border, Sabah reported.
According to the source, the equipment has been deployed in Hatay and Kilis provinces.
As reported earlier, Erdogan announced Ankara will soon begin military operations against armed Kurdish groups east of the Euphrates river in northern Syria. He also noted that the US continues to supply surreptitiously Kurds with arms.
