Mick Mulvaney will be carrying out the duties of Acting White House Chief of Staff, US President Donald Trump informed.

“I am pleased to announce that Mick Mulvaney, Director of the [White House] Office of Management & Budget, will be named Acting White House Chief of Staff, replacing General John Kelly,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

He added that Kelly had served the US with distinction, and that he is a “great patriot.”
