Salome Zurabishvili is set to take office as the new President of Georgia on December 16, News-Georgia repoted.

The inauguration ceremony of Georgia's first female president, Salome Zurabishvili, will be held in Telavi, the administrative center of Georgia's eastern province of Kakheti.

About 150 representatives from 55 countries and members of 16 international organizations will attend the inauguration ceremony, among them President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, former President of France (2007 – 2012) Nicolas Sarkozy, Vice President of the Republic of Turkey, Speaker of Azerbaijan Parliament and other Honorary Guests.
