The Acting First Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, wrote about the above-said on Facebook. He noted this as he commented on Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov’s statement that Baku was ready to ensure the safety of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenians and to give them the right to a high-level self-governance.

“I recommend to Mr. Mammadyarov to submit the proposal to the people of Artsakh, too,” Mirzoyan wrote, in particular. “After all, the people of Artsakh themselves will decide their destiny. It is their natural, inalienable right—not pressured by any threat, or force of weapons; and that right shall be recognized sooner or later.”
