YEREVAN. – The acting prime minister has set a task before the State Revenue Committee (SRC) to carry out its functions at full capacity and to ensure the planned indicators defined by the state, SRC Chairman Davit Ananyan told reporters, after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Government of Armenia.

And when asked about the accuracy of the information that the acting PM had tasked the SRC chief to collect taxes at any cost, Ananyan responded: ‘“At any cost’ is from lyrical deviations. I haven’t received such an assignment—that at any cost. The main emphasis should be placed on increasing the revenues on account of the shadow [economy].”
