The trade turnover between Armenia and Russia grows and it is necessary to preserve the existing dynamics, Russia’s president Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with Armenia’s acting PM Nikol Pashinyan, TASS reported.

“No need to describe our relations . We have really allied relations,” Russian president said.

He stressed in particular that Russia is number one Armenia’s partner, with bilateral trade-turnover growing by 30% in 2017.

“During the ten months of this year the trade turnover has grown by another 17.5%. The tempo is quite promising and should be preserved,” Russia’s president said.

He said Moscow is ready to do everything to preserve economic relations only but in security ties as well.

He said that this is the first visit of Pashinyan to Russia after convincing victory at the December 9 snap parliamentary elections in Armenia.

“I wish you success in implementation of all your projects for the sake of Armenia and the Armenian people,” Putin said.
