YEREVAN. – Attorneys of ex-Deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan have submitted a motion to the Court of Appeals, one of the attorneys Erik Aleksanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On December 14 Prosecutor General’s Office rejected the motion to arrest former Deputy PM Armen Gevorgyan.

Gevorgyan was charged with obstruction of justice in connection with the criminal case into the tragic events that occurred in Yerevan, in March 2008. The investigative agency had enforced a signature bond to not leave Armenia as a preventive measure for him.
