BitTorrent service will launch its own cryptocurrency with BTT ticker. It will work on Tron's base - in June 2018, the head of blockchain-startup Justin Sun purchased a protocol for sharing files for about $ 140 million, Coinspeaker reported.
Service users will be able to pay with new altcoin for sending or faster downloading files. The BTT coin will be available outside of the US through the Binance Launchpad service for entrepreneurs.
The company noted that users who do not go to earn or spend cryptocurrency will be able to share files for free.
