Romanos Petrosyan has informed on Facebook that he is renouncing his parliamentary seat, and continuing his activities as Governor of Kotayk Province of the Republic of Armenia (RA).

“By the RA Acting Prime Minister’s proposal and by our political team’s decision, at this phase I will continue my activities in the status of Governor of Kotayk Province,” the respective Facebook post reads, in particular. “Accordingly, informing [my] withdrawal from the mandate of National Assembly deputy.

“Let’s get to work for the ARMENIA state and its Citizen (…).”
