North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is visiting China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, BBC reported. 

The visit will last until January 10.

Earlier, Korean and Chinese sources reported that the train with a high-ranking North Korean official crossed the Chinese border.

This is Kim Jong-un's fourth visit to China in less than a year. The two met last June, the first such meeting for a sitting US president.
