YEREVAN.- No one can say for sure whether the events in Karaganda were provoked by someone or not, economist, ex-deputy Vardan Bostanjyan told Armenian News - NEWS.am on Tuesday, expressing concerns in connection with these events, as a result of which a man was killed during New Year celebrations.

He expressed hope that such incidents will not happen in Russia or Belarus, or in other countries of the former Soviet Union.

"Many Armenians live in these countries because of low salaries and unemployment in Armenia. We do not have the right to play with their destinies, ”Bostanjyan explained. 

Three Armenians are among the suspects in the case into the incident that occurred recently in Karaganda, and during which a Kazakh was killed.
