YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Poland Samvel Mkrtchyan handed over his credentials to President Andrzej Duda.

During the meeting, they discussed centuries-long ties between the Armenian and Polish nations, Armenian community’s contribution to the development of political and public life of Poland.

They also touched upon cooperation within the Eastern Partnership program and implementation of Armenia-EU agreement.

The Ambassador briefed the President on internal political developments in Armenia and preparation for the first meeting of the newly election parliament and Cabinet formation.

Samvel Mkrtchyan laid a wreath at the memorial to the Unknown Soldier.
