Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan sent Deputy Arman Abovyan to Karaganda to look into the situation on the spot,  Arman Abovyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, during the trip we managed to find out three main facts. “The first is that there is no inter-ethnic clash. Secondly, there were states and forces that tried to intervene, however, the Kazakh authorities were very serious in order to prevent clashes. ”

Abovyan noted that he had met with leaders and representatives of the local Armenian community, as well as local residents. 

According to him, nothing threatens the Armenian community. “The authorities of Kazakhstan protect the Armenian community. I would especially like to note also the brilliant work of the Armenian Embassy in Kazakhstan, ”Abovyan concluded.
