YEREVAN. – Acting CSTO Secretary General Valeriy Semerikov sent a congratulatory message to PM Nikol Pashinyan on his election.

“The results of the recent elections to the National Assembly confirm that the people of Armenia associate hopes for the better future of their country with the course of deep democratic reforms announced by you and are ready to actively participate in its implementation. I am convinced that, relying on this support, the government headed by you will achieve tangible progress in all areas of political and economic life,” the message says.

Semerikov said he is looking forward to continued and intensified cooperation with Armenia within the CSTO in order to further develop and enhance the security capacity of the Organization member states in countering the challenges and threats to international and regional security.
