YEREVAN. – There is a great potential for interaction between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates in many areas, President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian said during his official visit to UAE.

The President met with the executive director of the Mubadala investment company Kaldun Khalifa Al Mubarak.

Sarkissian expressed his gratitude to his interlocutor for providing scholarships for Armenians students to pass trainings in MASDAR technology and science complex.

The parties discussed issues relating to trade and economic cooperation as well as investments. The President of Armenia, in particular, proposed the field of renewable energy, information technology, tourism, hotel business and service as attractive and promising areas for investing in Armenia.
