YEREVAN. – According to the international convention, a citizen of a state has the right to take part in European education programs, regardless of whether or not the given state is recognized.

Prosperous Armenia Party MP Naira Zohrabyan, who is a candidate for Chairperson of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Human Rights and Public Affairs, said the aforementioned at Thursday’s sitting of the new legislature. She noted this while reflecting on the matter of the Republic of Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) active cooperation with international human rights organizations.

Zohrabyan assured that now they were endeavoring to implement this convention at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), so that it would not be “still-born” for the residents of Artsakh.
