YEREVAN. – There are tens of thousands of car frames in our country, and this is a very serious problem.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted the above-said at Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Government of Armenia. He stated this during the discussion of the draft on exempting electric vehicles’ imports from VAT, until January 1, 2022.

“I have in me a formula that the situation of our country can be completely changed if we can get rid of three things,” Pashinyan said. “One is the garbage, which is everywhere. Second are the kiosks, which one doesn’t know when they were installed everywhere—by whom. And the third are the automobile frames, which people keep in their yard for decades.”

“If we will be able to resolve this matter at the visual level, it would mean that tremendous changes have taken place in our country,” the PM concluded.
