The reconstruction of the Artashat-Agarak highway, as part of the North-South project, is one of the priority projects for EU funding in Armenia, the EU said in a statement on investment action plan.

The EU intends to allocate 450 million euros. In general, investments of all projects scheduled in Armenia will amount to 732 million euros.

The Yerevan-Vanadzor road (7.5 million euros), the reconstruction of the Gyumri-Bavra point on the Armenian-Georgian border (41 million euros) will also be renovated until 2030, as well as the construction of Meghri border crossing point (15 million euros).

Earlier, the European Commission and the World Bank presented the Indicative Action Plan for Investing in the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which identified priority projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
