Armenia's acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in France on a working visit, met with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay on Thursday.

At the beginning of the meeting the Acting FM presented the UNESCO Director-General with the newly appointed permanent representative of Atmenia at UNESCO Christian Ter-Stepanyan, expressing conviction that Ter-Stepanyanthe will have a significant contribution to promotion of cooperation with UNESCO, implementation of joint programs and initiatives with the Organization. Acting FM also reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to active involvement in the work of UNESCO.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the initiation and implementation of joint programs for the preservation and restoration of human cultural heritage, as well as issues relating to cooperation and joint programs of UNESCO and the OIF.
