YEREVAN. – The Armenian society is witnessing formation of a new political culture, head of “My Step” faction Lilit Makunts said.

Makunts emphasized that a constructive political discourse continues in the country. She emphasized that the representatives of three opposition forces are heading seven out of eleven standing committees in the National Assembly. The MP said that such an approach is applied for the first time.

“Human rights issues are raised regularly, and it is important for the opposition to chair this committee,” she added.
