YEREVAN. – Within the framework of Armenia’s Nature Protection Minister Erik Grigoryan’s recent working visit to Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection and the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment have signed a memorandum of understanding.

The cooperation envisaged in this document will be implemented in several domains, the Ministry of Nature Protection informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the Armenian minister invited the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, to Armenia for the events devoted to the year of the Caucasian Leopard.

Along the lines of his trip, Grigoryan also met with several UAE ministers, and attended The Future Sustainability Summit within the framework of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week forum.
