Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he plans to hold an informal meeting with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev in Davos.

“Yes, it is an informal meeting,” he told RIA Novosti when asked whether a bilateral meeting is expected today.

During an earlier press conference, asked when his conversation with Aliyev may take place, Pashinyan said: “very soon”.

Aliyev, for his part, told RIA Novosti that there had been no full-fledged talks between the leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan, but there had been several “useful conversations”. He said the meetings were useful to determine the positions of the parties and to intensify talks on Karabakh.
