Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan, on his appointment as Prime Minister of Armenia.

“Poland welcomes the political changes that took place in Armenia in 2018,” the message reads, in part. “I am convinced that, under your leadership, the new government of the Republic of Armenia will make every effort to strengthen the country’s position on the international arena, to ensure its security, as well as to continue the democratic reforms.

“I am also confident that the political changes that took place in the Republic of Armenia will give considerable dynamics to our bilateral relations.

“The Republic of Armenia is a country with which we [Poland] are united through good cooperation and historical friendship ties. I am confident that our relations will continue to develop and strengthen.”
