Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte congratulated  Nikol Pashinyan on his appointment as head of the Armenian government.

"Please accept my sincere congratulations on your appointment. The velvet revolution was worthily crowned with free parliamentary elections. The peaceful and democratic changes in Armenia did not go unnoticed.

I hope to work together with you in a bilateral and multilateral format. I am confident that our countries will continue to cooperate constructively.
I highly appreciate our cooperation in the framework of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, the IMF, the World Bank and the EBRD. I am convinced that it will lead to positive results. I hope to discuss these issues with you on the margins of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
