YEREVAN. – Member of the majority “My Step” Faction at the new National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, former Minister of Diaspora Mkhitar Hayrapetyan—who chairs the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport—will head the NA Delegation to the EuroNest Parliamentary Assembly.

“Makeup of the seventh-convocation National Assembly delegation to the Eastern Partnership Parliamentary Assembly (EuroNest) was formed today [Thursday] at the meeting of the National Assembly Council,” Hayrapetyan wrote in a Facebook post. “Underscoring the role of parliamentary diplomacy at various international platforms, I should proudly note that I will head the delegation carrying out this accountable mission.

“I am confident that (…) we will succeed in representing the Republic of Armenia with honor at this international platform.”
