The executive power in Baku has turned down the opposition National Council’s petition for holding a rally Saturday.
According to the information, the refusal to hold this rally is due to the fact that there were violations of public order after the previous rally of the National Council.
Following this rally, chief of the Main Police Department of Baku, Mirgafar Seyidov, petitioned to the authorities of Azerbaijan’s capital city, calling on not to permit the street protests by the opposition.
