Armenian MP Edmon Marukyan has been appointed a member to the two key committees of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
PACE Bureau confirmed his candidacy for a member in the committee dealing with the election of judges to the European Court of Human Rights and in the monitoring committee, Marukyan wrote on Facebook.
Marukyan was nominated by Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) group.
