Official Tbilisi has been satisfied with the level of Armenian-Georgian relations sine the state gained independence, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigor Vashadze told Azatutyun (Liberty) radio.

"We hold regular meetings at all levels. We discuss cooperation in the fields of infrastructures, transport, energy science and culture," the Minister said.

In the context of strained Georgian-Russian relations on the one hand, and Russian-Armenian partnership on the other hand, the Georgian FM refused to make any comments of Russia`s relations with third countries. He stressed that it does not in any way affect Georgian-Armenian relations.

"Our Premier was on a visit to Armenia just a week ago. The two Premiers met and discussed issues of mutual concern related to our economic cooperation," Vashadze said. He defined Armenian-Georgian relations as strategic partnership.
