The US actions in the South China Sea violate China’s sovereignty, said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying.

According to her, two US Navy warships entered the Chinese territorial waters near Nansha islands.

Such actions violate the sovereignty of China and threaten peace and security, SCMP reported referring to the diplomat.

According to her, China opposes any attempts to harm the sovereignty and security of other countries under the pretext of ensuring the freedom of navigation and aeronautics.
