The US Glassmaker Owens-Illinois filed a lawsuit to collect $ 500 million from the Venezuelan authorities, The Wall Street Journal reported. 

The lawsuit was filed after the firm’s glassmaking plants were nationalized.

Earlier, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Russia, Carlos Rafael Faria Tortosa, said that Caracas would sue international courts amid the imposition of US sanctions.
