During his visit to Syria, Armenian Center for Humanitarian Demining & Expertise Director Ruben Arakelyan met with former state official,  public and political figure Dr. Yehia Awaida, and United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) Syria Director  Ahmad Javedi. They discussed future cooperation.

While in Syria, Arakelyan also visited the Armenian specialists who are on a humanitarian mission in this country.

These physicians and deminers are carrying out their work on a daily basis.
